摘　　要：从教师的教育观念、工资待遇和社会地位、管理体制、教师的培训与提高、教师的流动、教学与科研的关系及师生关系等方面介绍了西方发达国家高校教师教育的一些特点,以期对目前我国的高等教育改革提供镜鉴和参考。This article introduces some features in teachers' education in the western tertiary institutions in terms of their educational concept, salary, social status, administration system, training and promotion, mobility, the interrelations between teaching and research, and the teacher-student relations. Hopefully, this introduction may be of some help in current reform of Chinese higher education.
