摘　　要：把谐音放在汉文化大背景中来探析它的言语交际功能。这种交际功能主要表现在 :利用谐音这一文化修辞手段表达祈求幸福、美好、吉祥的愿望 ;利用谐音知识避开不吉利、不好、不雅的字词 ,从而避免不良的交际效果 ;利用谐音手段可以在言语交际活动中造成轻松、幽默、风趣的气氛 ,从而提高表达效果 ;利用谐音手段在特定语境中还可以起到消除化解尴尬不快的作用。文章最后还指出在运用谐音修辞手段时应注意掌握“度” ,不能乱用和滥用 。This article tries to put homophonic under Han cultural background and explores its function of speech intercourse:homophonic means can be used to express desire for luck and good things;homophonic means can be used to avoid unlucky and unsightly words so as to avert harmful communication effect; it can also be used to create relaxed、humorous and witty atmosphere,thereby to improve the effect of expression; under some particular circumstances,it can remove embarrassment.Moreover,the article will point out that when using homophonic means,we must pay attention to its“degree”and should not use it indiscriminately ,or make fetish of it. [
