摘　　要：自20世纪90年代以来,发展研究生教育成为日本教育改革的重大课题之一。日本大学审议会提出研究生教育要向规模化、多样化发展的战略,因此现在日本的研究生教育正在向规模化、多样化方向发展。分析日本研究生教育制度和职能的变化以及质量与规模的平衡,对于我国的研究生教育具有一定的借鉴意义。After the 1990s,the development trend of graduate education has become a major issue in the course of Japanese education reform. The university council of Japan proposed the strategy that the graduate should tend towards diversity and mass development,which now are proceeding . it would benefit Chinese graduate education to analyze the changes of institutions and functions as well as the balance between the quality and scale of Japanese graduate education.
