摘　　要：　本文着重探讨讲话人在虚拟复合空间中构建隐喻性夸张言语时所进行的认知操作。我们认为某些隐喻性夸张言语产生于讲话人虚构的复合空间。本文先指出认知语义学研究方法的局限,然后用空间复合论来分析讲话人在生成夸张言语时在虚拟复合空间中铸造新创结构的具体方法,最后分析夸张的梯级含义功能,并指出进一步研究的方向。Cognitive semantics is notoriously inadequate for explaining the making of metaphorical hyperbole. As a remedy, this paper suggests that we consider the counterfactual blended space as the site for constructing the said figure. Several means for setting off the manufacturing process are identified, and the scalar implicatures of hyperbole are discussed from this new perspective.
