摘 要:本文讨论了西安市第一届大学生数学模型竞赛题之一——调整气象观测站问题.若用主成份与逐步剔除法解决此问题,似可根据“损失信息量”的概念来确定减少测站个数.通过计算分析,在不损失信息量的条件下,可以去掉两个测站;在损失信息量为0.852%的条件下,可以去掉3个测站.这种算法,使节约设站开资,减少测站数量更具科学性.On the problem of decreasing meteorological stations —one of the first mathematical match examination questions for students in Xi'an city—discussed in this paper. If we use principal component analysis and successive sweep method, the numbers of meteorological stations can be decreased according to the rate of information loss. For example, two meteorological stations can be canceled on condition that the rate of information loss is equal to zero; three meteorological stations can be cenceled on condition that the rate of the loss is equal to 0852%. It is possessed to better scientificniss, in so doing, to decrease the stations and to cut down expenses.
