摘　　要：大学教师角色的制度化与大学发展息息相关。大学教师在中西两种文化背景下,角色定型具有不同的道路,但有相似的特点。不管大学制度如何变化,大学教师永远应该是真理的化身、道德的榜样和社会的良心。The systemization of the role of university teachers is closely connected with the development of universities. Though the stereotype of the role of university teachers have their own different ways in the Chinese and western cultural backgrounds, they have some similar features. No matter how the university systems change, university teachers should always be embodiment of truth, example of morality, and the conscience of the society.
