摘  要:"以学习者为中心"的课堂教学模式将传统课堂中的中心教师转向学生,这一教学理念已被广大外语教学工作者所接受。但真正实现还需要师生双方的协调合作。文章从大学英语教学以培养学生自主学习能力着手,应用元认知知识对学生进行策略训练来提高学生自主学习能力。实验证明学生缺乏自主学习能力,策略的制定训练对提高学习自主性有效,自主能力的提高与外语学习效果呈正比关系。The learner-oriented classroom mode , which turns its center from teachers to students, has been widely accepted. But it requires the cooperation of both to accomplish it. The paper applies the metacognitive theory (the training of learning strategy ) to cultivate aut nomy among English learners . Since language learners are in great need of learning autonomy, it indicates that strategy training is effective in enriching the learners metacognitive knowledge and it can promote the establishment of learner autonomy with a good performance and academic record as the result .
