摘　　要：和所有的大学毕业生一样，从医学院校毕业的医生、护士，除了在工作中锤炼，也需要继续接受培训，提高理论知识，了解最新的医学成果。此时，远程医学教育就是他们最好的选择之一。There are 1.868 millions professional doctors and 1.262 millions registered nurses in our country. Now the distance medicine education is rapidly entering the after-graduation and continue education phase for these 'angels in white'. This is even more important for the on-the-job training, position-transfer training, village doctor's training, general practitioner's training and professional technician's training. Dec 4th, 2004 sees the holding of the National Proseminar on the Management and Development of Distance Medicine Education which has more than 60 representatives from the medicine education field all across the country at present. On the proseminar the focuses such as the location of distance medicine education, the characteristics of distance medicine education organizations, joining into the national certificate system and introducing foreign experience have been discussed.
