摘　　要：自学考试是由国家授权的考试机构建立的教育考试制度。它是自学者进行以学历考试为主的高等教育国家考试，是个人自学、社会助学和国家考试相结合的高等教育形式。它是一种具有鲜明的中国特色、适应我国国情的教育考试制度。伴随着高等教育改革和发展的新形势，有必要对高等教育自学制度及其发展前景进行探讨。Self-study exam is the system established by nati on al-authorized exam institution.It is a national exam for higher education with the aim of credentials,and is a form of higher education combining self-study,s ocial sponsor,and national exam.It has typical Chinese feature,adapting our coun try.It's necessary to explore the system and its prospect.
