摘　　要：本文着重阐述了中国成人高等教育在加入WTO后国内外人才竞争日趋激烈的新形势下，要树立终身教育的思想，认清网络教育全球化的趋势，大力发展网络教育、高层次的继续教育，以满足社会对成人高等教育的需求，为社会培养有创新能力的新型人才。This article emphasizes the changes of China's adult higher education under the influence of entering WTO. With the entrance to WTO , intellectuals play a more and more important role in the entire society's deve lopment. So we should bear in mind that on-line education is flourishing all ov er the world and that as a consequence, we should develop life-long education, internet education and high-level continuing education. Only in this way can we meet the demands of adult high education and develop new intellectuals with t he initiative.
