摘　　要：根据体院外语教学的实际 ,探索和改革体育院校外语教学的模式。吸取国内外在外语教学中的“语法—翻译教学法”“情景教学法”和“交际法”的特点和优点 ,结合我院学生的特点和实际 ,实施“以学生为主体 ,两种能力并重的全新的大学英语教学模式。This paper introduces a college English teaching method, which is suitable for the physical education institutions. In this article, the authors, based on the traditional and modern teaching methods and their years of teaching experience with students who study English as a foreign language (EFL) in physical education institutions, suggest a new college English teaching method. The essence of this method is being student-centered and cultivation these two kinds of abilities: the ability of getting information and the ability of linguistic communication.
