摘　　要：本文预测并扼要说明了21世纪的时代特点,据此提出并论述了跨入新世纪后我国汉语应用研究急需抓的三个研究领域:适应中文信息处理需要的汉语应用研究,适应中小学语文教学需要的汉语应用研究,适应对外汉语教学需要的汉语应用研究,因为它们直接影响着我们国家的经济、文化、科技、教学的发展和我国国力的增长。文章还就上述三个研究领域提出了具体的研究课题。The paper first forecasts the features of 21th century.And then suggests that attention should be paid to the following three aspects in applied linguistics in line with the features of the 21th century:(1) Chinese Information Processing,(2) Chinese Teaching for Native Speakers in primary school and middle school,(3) Teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.The paper also develops specific approach to the three aspects mentioned above.
