摘 要:采用个案追踪分析和研究的方法,对中国新加坡合资兴建的某集装箱码头有限公司(简称CTC)的合作进展与运作过程进行纵向剖析,从跨文化管理的角度分析合资双方在经营理念、决策方式、领导行为、管理风格、沟通方式、规章制度、组织机构、员工激励等诸方面经历的冲突、交汇、融合的过程。从研究中可看出,港口的国际化经营和跨国投资面临着不同国籍、民族、团队的人所带来的文化交叉,必须实行跨文化的有效管理,才能使资本和技术的投入获得满意的回报。Focusing on the cooperation and development process of a Sino-Singapore joint venture ,the Container Terminal Corporation LTD(CTC) ,by applying the case study approach with longitudinal observations and analysis .It highlights the joint venture's developmental process of conflicts,interactions and merging together in terms of business philosophy,decision making styles,leadership,behaviors,communication patterns,organizational structures,employees' motivation,etc.From the study ,it is concluded that the joint ventures confront interactions of various cultures originated form employees involved with different citizenship,nationalities and groups in the setting of port globalization operations.In order to obtain satisfactory returns from the capital and technology inputted,effective cross-cultural management has to be implemented.Thus ports run by joint ventures could move forward towards value adding service in all-round directions so as to maintain and enhance their strengths in the intense competition of the world marine transportation markets.
