摘  要:语言具有社会性、工具性和时空属性。语言的社会性可反映出人的心理的复杂性与多样性;语言的工具性是人们交流的基础;而语言的时空属性突出表现为语言及其表达方式发生的明显变化。概括性或简约化已经成为当今语言使用的一大特点。结合对语言的属性分析,探讨了在语言教学中运用这些属性的意义和方法,认为语言教学必须以交流活动为主,教学双方要保持良好的心理状态,更多地重视高科技给语言传播带来的影响,同时指出了在教学过程中对语言属性合理利用、适度控制的必要性。Language is social, instrumental and subject to specific time and space. The social properties reflect the complexity and variety of human psychology. As a tool, language is the very means for human communication. However, the time-space property of language can find expression in the striking changes that take place in the form of language and its ways of expression. Generality or conciseness has become a striking characteristic of current language use. Detailed discussion is made in this paper on the properties of language, and the significance and methods of applying them into language teaching. It is held that language teaching should focus on communication, the teacher and learner should keep a sound state of mind, and great attention should be paid to the influence of high technology upon the dissemination of language. Besides, it is pointed out that it is of great necessity to apply language properties to language teaching in a rational and suitable way.
