摘　　要：在美国黑人民权运动和女权运动之后,多元文化主义成为主导美国社会文化的重要思想,它进一步催化了美国文化内核从单一的主流价值观向文化的多元主体转变。在文学领域中,主要表现为曾经游离于主流文学之外的非欧裔作家和学者,积极振兴民族文化、表现民族特色、争取民族话语权。大量的民族文学作品进入文学经典,彻底转变了美国文学的传统走向。After the civil right and feminist movements, multiculturalism has been one of the most important ideologies leading the changes of the American culture and society. It speeds up the transformation of American culture from the mono core to diversification. In literature, those non-European writers and critics, who used to be marginalized from the main stream literature, have strived for their ethnic voice and the revival of their cultures. Many ethnic writers and writings have been anthologized as classics, which demonstrates the current trend of American culture and literature.
