摘　　要：计算机英语教材的主要目标是培养计算机及其相关专业学生使用本专业英语的能力。在我国目前的高等院校的计算机相关专业中,计算机英语课程作为专业外语课程被广泛开设,几乎是必开课。因此,计算机英语的基本教学要求应包括以下方面:掌握基本的计算机专业词汇、熟练掌握专业英语材料的阅读技巧、具备专业英语材料的翻译能力、具备一定的听说及用英文写作的能力。课文的选材时,应把握新颖性、多样性及实用性原则。还应该注意以下方面:使教材具有较好的适用性、在教材中培养学生的自学能力、利用现代化的教学手段。由于计算机技术的高速发展,计算机英语的教材十分需要不断完善。The main objective of computer English textbooks is to cultivate the computer majors′ and computer-relevant majors′ competence in mastering the English in their fields. Nowadays computer English course is widely offered, almost as a compulsory course.Therefore, the basic teaching requirements of computer English should include as follows: master the basic vocabulary in computer field, have good reading skills when reading the materials in computer English, be able to translate materials in computer English and have certain ability to speak and write English. When selecting the materials of the texts, one should take novelty, diversity and practicability into consideration. When compiling a computer English textbook one should also pay attention to the following aspects: make sure that the book is of good applicability, make sure that the book can develop the students′ self-study ability and be convenient to use modern teaching means. Since computer technology is developing very fast, computer English textbooks should be perfected frequently.
