摘　　要：一般认为自由是典型的西方文化价值理念,以儒学为特征的中国文化传统是与自由无涉的,甚至是相悖的。实际上这种先入为见的判断是有西方中心主义嫌疑的,也是由于宋明理学及其以后的负面影响所致。其实,在儒学的发源时期———先秦儒学中所蕴涵的精神、道德和政治的自由风范,是值得我们重新挖掘和继承的优秀思想之一。Because of certain reasons we have some bias to Confucianism that usually we replace the entire Confucianism with SongMingLixue. This has once caused large-scale rejection and confutation. However, the fact is that Confucianism has gone through different historical periods and theoretical patterns. At its original stage, there are a lot of great ideas that worthy of our rediscovering and carrying on. One of which is the spirit of freedom, including the spirit of mental freedom, mortal freedom and political freedom. Meanwhile, in respects of treating the problems in economy, traditional culture and institutions, the spirit of freedom has always been there.
