摘　　要：结合现代天文学的发展,阐述了人类在探索宇宙奥秘的过程中所做出的不懈努力,并探讨了天文学在提高公民科学素质方面不可替代的作用,介绍了《基础天文学》教材的特点.On the basis of the development of astronomy , the untiring efforts of mankind in the process of exploring the universe secret are expounded. It is indicated that the exploration of the Universe plays an irreplaceable role for improving the scientific quality of citizen. The newly published teaching material “Fundamental Astronomy” is also introduced.
