西部地区高等教育与经济协调发展分析

摘　　要：与区域经济的协调发展是评价西部地区高等教育发展的重要方面。从高等教育发展的规模速度、所生产的科技成果的转化率、其结构所锁定的功能定位看,西部地区高等教育在与经济协调发展方面还存在较大差距。为此,应加速扩大规模、面向特色产业调整学科专业和建设前瞻性大学,以推动西部地区高等教育与经济协调发展。Coordination between high education and local economy is one of the important aspect in evaluating the development of higher education in China's West. Viewed from its scale, the percentage of transformation from scientific achievements into production, and the positioning of function fixed by its structure, a big gap has to be bridged in the coordinated development between higher education and local economy. It has become an important principle, therefore, to speed up the expansion of its scale, to make an adjustment of curriculum in accordance with the development of local industry in the coordinated development of higher education and economy.
