Effect of Lean and Rich Mixture Operating Time on NO_x Emission from Lean Burn Gasoline Engine with Adsorber-Reduction Catalytic Converter

摘  要:对装有吸附还原催化器的稀燃汽油机的稀、浓燃状态运行时间t稀、t浓及t稀/t浓的值对其排放和燃油经济性的影响进行了实验研究。结果表明:稀、浓燃状态运行时间比值t稀/t浓减小,CO、HC排放增大,NOx排放减小,燃油消耗率增加。而随着稀、浓燃状态运行时间的增大(t稀/t浓一定),稀燃发动机NOx的排放增大,燃油消耗率降低。减小稀、浓燃状态运行时间可改善稀燃汽油机负荷增大时的NO排放。The NO_x emission from the lean burn gasoline engine may be reduced by the adsorber-reduction catalytic converter. The effects of the lean and the rich mixture operating time duration t_ lean and t_ rich as well as their ratio t_ lean/t_ rich on the NO_x emission and the fuel economy of a lean burn gasoline engine were investigated experimentally. The results show that with the decrease of the time ratio t_ lean/t_ rich the CO and HC emissions and BSFC increase, but the NO_x emission decreases. The increase of the time durationt_ leanand t_ rich under constant ratio t_ lean/t_ rich leads to decrease of BSFC and increase of NO_x emission. Reducing the t_ leanand t_ rich can improve the NO_x emission from the engine with increased load.
