浅谈英汉中的委婉语

摘　　要：本文以汉语和英语世界里存在的委婉语为语料,从两个不同的角度对其进行了分类;阐述了委婉语在生活中的功能,指出委婉语在形成或使用中往往要借助于一些修辞手段表达出委婉意义;在使用委婉语的过程中,需要注意一些问题。Based on the euphemism in Chinese and English,the author classifies it from two different angles and lists its functions in life.Besides,three kinds of rhetoric,which are helpful to the forming of the euphemism,are given.some problems which can affect the communication may appear when we apply it.
