摘　　要：素质教育是英语专业写作课的一个重要内容。文章为更好地在英语专业写作课中贯彻素质教育,针对英语专业写作课传统教学中的种种弊端,在参考相关资料和总结美籍教师凯斯特先生的教学法的基础上,提出了新的英语专业写作教学的有效模式。Writing course for English majors ought to be carried out in the spirit of education for all-round development. To fulfill this requirement in real teaching and counter the drawbacks of the traditional English writing education, the authors put forward an effective model of the writing course for English majors through consulting relevant materials and summing up the team-teaching experience with Mr. Kister, an American teacher.
