摘　　要：京师同文馆是由清廷举办,由美国传教士丁韪良长期担任总教习的中国第一所官办洋学堂,它是中国民族危机加深,晚清“师夷之长技以制夷”思潮的产物,也是国门洞开后,中西文化交流的产物。它的创办,成为近代中国教育改革的肇端,对中国社会产生了深远的影响。Capital Tung-wen College held by Qing Dynasty is the first official western college that appointed American missionary Ding Weiliang as general instructor. The college is the result of the thought of learning from western advantages in order to outweigh westerners and the result of communication between Chinese culture and western culture. Capital Tung-wen College is the beginning of China’s modern education reform and influences deeply on China’s society.
