摘　　要：提高英语阅读理解教学质量是英语教学的一个重要任务。促进理解是英语阅读教学的核心使命,利用现代解释学理论来重建科学的教学观对于英语阅读教学具有特殊意义。It is one of the major tasks in English teaching to improve the efficiency in reading teaching. At the same time, improving learners' understanding is one of the most important goals in reading teaching. It will certainly help us improve our teaching by applying the modern Hermeneutics to establish a new scientific view on reading teaching .
