摘　　要：中国近代的图书馆观念有一个重要而明显的指向,即社会教育意识,具体表现在倡行、创设近代图书馆过程中对社会教育功能的呼吁,以及社会教育机构的定位上。这一意识从萌芽到成长,都得力于当时国家民族现实的促发和近代社会教育思潮的推拥,同时也反映了近代中国的思想文化的风云变化、教育观念转变的需要,以及时代的精神现实。The library idea of the Chinese modem age contain an important but obvious direction, namely the social education consciousness ,the concrete performance appeals to the social education function in initiate go,establish modem library process, and the fixed position of the social education organization up, this knows with complete devotion from sprout to the growth, all rely on the promotion of the national actuality, the push of the modem social education current of thought at that time, also reflected the change of the winds and clouds of the culture thought of modem China, the domand of education idea change, and the spirit actuality of the ages.
