摘　　要：基于《国家英语课程标准》(实验稿)和小学生学习英语的特点,讨论了小教英语专业学生应具备的专业素质。The key issue in teaching is that of teachers because, to some extent, learning is directly affected by the quality of teachers. Referring to the English Curriculum Criteria and the characteristic of primary English learners, this paper focuses on the quality which college students of primary English education, the future primary English teachers, should posses.
