摘  要:教育改革和教学质量的提高关键在于教师。英语教师如何在教学过程中提高自身的素质以适应当前大学英语教学改革的需要是一个值得研究的课题。本文在分析西方反思型教学的特点和手段的基础上,阐述该教学理论对我国高校英语教师专业能力发展的促进作用,就反思在英语教学实践中具体应用的有效途径进行了探讨。Teacher quality determines the success of educational reform and the improvement of teaching. It is very important for English teachers to perform their functions so as to get involved in college English teaching reform in China. Based on the analysis of the characteristics and methods of western reflective teaching, this paper aims to demonstrate its positive influence on Chinese college English teachers and explores a new approach to extending a reflective teacher's professional ability in English teaching.
