摘　　要：所谓"流星语",指的是某一时期某一地域为人们使用,而且使用频率较高,时代感较强,表达恰当、准确,适合人们口吻的、喜闻乐见的词语或表述方式."流星语"产生的原因是社会经济飞速发展,新生事物层出不穷,原有的词不能或不能更好地传信达意.这时,"流星语"便应运而生,它可折射出人类社会进步的成果及社会多元的生活状态.人们无法回避"流星语",否则交际就会出现困难和障碍.“Shooting-star language” refers to the words and expressions that people like to use frequently, which bear a strong sense of times and cater to people＇ liking and interest. Because of the fast development of social economy and successive emergence of creation, the present expressions cannot convey the original meaning faithfully in translation. And then, the “shooting-star language” appears as the times demand. It reflects great achievements and pluralistic state of human society. Understanding and using “shooting-star language” will be helpful for people＇s communication in different languages.
