摘　　要：庚子退款作为一笔特殊的款项,在我国早期科学教育的发轫过程中充当着重要的角色。庚子退款不仅缓解了我国科学教育之初的经费短缺;而且大批庚款留学生成为我国早期科学教育的主要倡导者和实践者。庚款兴学是推动我国早期科学教育发展的主要因素之一。As a special fund,the Gengzi＇s returning fund played an important part in the beginning of early science education in China, This fund had loosed the economic tension of early science education, And lots of Gengzi - funded overseas tudents became the main proposers and practians of early science education, Gengzi fund gave an important impulse to the development of early science education in China,
