蔡元培美育思想及其对大学素质教育的启示

摘　　要：教育家蔡元培先生毕生积极倡导美育,他认为美育贯穿人的整个生命过程,它的实施包括了家庭美育、学校美育、社会美育三个方面;他尤其强调美育在学校教育中的地位和作用;他针对时弊,提出了“以美育代宗教”的进步主张。他的这些美育思想对于当今大学素质教育在加强学生的培养、教师形象的塑造、学校的建设等方面有着一定的现实意义。Mr. Cai Yuanpei, who was a famous educationist, advocated positively aesthetic education through his fife. He deemed that aesthetic education ran through one＇s fife and we should put it into effect on family, school and social aesthetics. Moreover, Mr. Cai specially emphasized that aesthetic education was a very important position and action on school education. He put forward relying upon aesthetic education instead of religion in the fig）at of social abuse. All of Cai Yuanpei＇s thoughts of aesthetic education have great practical significance to today＇s university quality education in increasing developments of the school, and improving the student and the teacher＇s character etc.
