摘　　要：以人为本,全面、协调、可持续的发展观,是以胡锦涛为总书记的党中央从新世纪新阶段党和国家事业发展全局出发提出的重大战略思想。在全面建设小康社会,不断构建社会主义和谐社会的历史时刻,我们应当准确把握和全面理解科学发展观的内涵,深刻理解实现人的全面发展的重大意义,不断探索人的全面发展的有效途径。The principle of “putting people first” and the concept of overall,co-ordinated and sustainable development are the significant strategic thinking propesed by the central leading body of the Party with Hu Jintao as the general secretary in view of the overall situation of the development cause of our Party and our nation at the new stage in the new century. At this historical moment of constructing an overall well-off society and a harmonious socialist society, we should accurately grasp and comprehensively understand the connotation of the scientific development concept, totally see the significance of realizing people＇s all-round development, and make continuous effort to explore the effective approaches to people＇s all-round develoment.
