摘　　要：本文以韩礼德的功能语法为理论指导,尝试对唐诗《送友人》的两个英译文进行功能语篇 分析和对比,重点为主位结构方面的异同,对比表明主位结构分析不但有助于理解评价语篇,还能更好 地服务于翻译实践。One of the aims for Halliday to construct the systemic-functional grammar is to analyze the discourse. This paper is a systemic-functional attempt to study different translated versions of Li Bai＇s poem A Farewell to A Friend front the perspective of thematic structure. The study illustrates that the analysis of the thematic structure is helpful not only to understand and evaluate the discourse, but also to translate.
