摘　　要：美国作家海明威以其独特的写作风格而著称,他的著名短篇小说《白象似的群山》语言简洁自然,寓意深刻。As a great American writer, Hemingway is noted for his writing style. The language in his works is simple and natural on the surface, but actually deliberate and artificial. The simplicity is highly suggestive, and often reflects the strong undercurrent of emotion. This essay relates Hemingway＇s unique use of language in his novels, especially in the short story Hills Like the White Elephants.
