浅论现代英语同义词组的基本特点及其辨析词典的编纂

摘　　要：本文探讨了现代英语同义词组的基本特点以及编纂英语同义词组辨析词典时要注意的一些问题，从使用的广泛性、数量的庞大性、形成方法的多样性、来源的国际性、种类的丰富性，用法的“三”特性以及修辞的形象性和多样性等方面归纳了现代英语同义词组的基本特点。针对上述特点，本文从词组条目的选择、词组条目的定性与分类、同义词组的辨析、例证的配置与翻译以及词组条目的编排等方面讨论了编纂英语同义词组辨析词典时要注意的问题。This paper is divided into two parts. In the first part, it discusses some basic features of modern English synonymous phrases, pointing out that English synonymous phrases which come from a multitude of sources and are formed in various ways are not only large in quantity and rich in variety, but also are widely used as well. The paper also summarizes the three special features in its usage. In the second part, it deals with some problems in compiling a dictionary of discrimination of English synonymous phrases, covering such topics as the choice of the items to be included, the classification of the items, the explanation of the differences between synonymous phrases, the examples to be included and translated, and the arrangement of the items.
