摘　　要：从意识形态角度对辜鸿铭所翻译的《中庸》、《论语》进行分析和研究,揭示出社会意识形态对中国古典文化经典翻译的影响。“归化”策略的使用证明辜鸿铭的翻译是意识形态操作的产物。This paper examines Ku Hungming＇s English translations of The Doctrine of the Mean and Confucius＇ The Analects and explores the ideological elements/considerations behind the translator＇ s endeavors to employ domesticating strategies in translating the Chinese classics to English to cater for the target language readers.
