摘　　要：高级英语是英语专业高年级的必修课,是一门综合性、教学难度较高的课程。它要求教师具备较高的综合性知识水平,运用交际教学法,培养学生自学能力,开展第二课堂活动,有效地将课内课外学习结合起来,以培养适应我国社会主义现代化建设需要的复合型人才。Advanced English is a credit course of the junior and senior students majoring in English. It is a comprehensive course and a course difficult to teach as well. Teachers teaching this course are required to be well equipped with comprehensive knowledge, and meanwhile they need to adopt communicative language teaching,so as to develop the self-teaching ablility of the students. The second class activities should be promoted, and the study inside and outside the class should be effectively combined. Therefore, students of muhiple ablilities can be trained to meet the demand of the construction of the socialist modernizations in our country.
