摘　　要：隐喻,作为艺术表现手段,常常使现代文学作品的结构更丰富,意蕴更深刻。借助隐喻,《献给艾米莉的玫瑰》巧妙地在人物悲剧中折射出社会的衰落现实,并在主人公的命运里赋予了强烈的情感和深远的社会内涵。Metaphor, as an artistic technique of expression, usually makes the modern literature arts richer in structure and deeper in significance. By using metaphor, ＂A Rose For Emily＂ skillfully reflects the society on the wane through the expression of characters＂ tragedies and endows the heroine＇s destiny with strong emotion and insightful social meaning.
