摘  要:20世纪70年代末西方语言学家提出了一种新的写作教学法——过程写作法。它以交际理论为基础,提倡通过写作过程学习写作。这种方法要求学生发挥主观能动性,并且在反复修改的过程中学习写作。和传统的写作方式相比较,写作过程、修改过程被提高到了与写作结果同样的重视高度。这种西方写作教学法给英语写作教学很大的启示。Process Approach is posed by the Western linguists in the late 70' s d the twentieth century. This approach is based on the theory of communication and views writing as a complicated mental cognitive and language intercourse process. It advocates that writing should be learnt through the writing process itself and lays great emphasis on the autonomy and interaction of the student writers in the process of writing. It also attaches a great importance to continuous revising in the writing process. This teaching style has great implications for the traditional teaching of writing in China.
