摘　　要：高校党的先进性建设是一个系统的复杂工程。本文联系高校党建工作的实际情况,从宏观及微观的视角分别提出了高校党的先进性建设的四个系统要素：即思想理论体系、制度体系、保障体系和实践性体系。不断加强高校党的先进性建设,促进高校各项工作健康和可持续发展,是高等学校党委一项长期而艰巨的任务。The political leadership and ideological guidance of the Communist Party of China （CPC） over university affairs should be an essential precondition for maintaining the progressive nature of its branches in colleges and universities, and the scientific outlook on development should be the guiding ideology for the same purpose. Therefore, to guarantee such an ideology in effect, an institutional system needs to be established to maintain CPC branches＇ progressiveness for the long-term mechanics. The institutional system could be reflected in terms of personal duty rules, members＇ study-education rules, and the inner-party democracy and monitor rules. In addition, a strong organizational system should be applied for the steady practice of the institutional system, which could be reflected in terms of team building, ideological promotion and financial support. Last of all, down to earth measures should be taken to build up an application system. The application system is shaped for the party members campus wide to help students design a variety of activities to show and prove the party＇s vanguard character. To sum up, the guiding ideology, institutional system, organizational system and application system, in order of succession, should all be a must for CPC branches in colleges and universities to perform their progressive function in interests of higher education development under the circumstances of the CPC using the power for the people, caring about the people and working to benefit the people.
