摘　　要：在英语学习越来越热的今天,国人的汉语水平却令人堪忧。重外语,轻中文的现象日益严重。英语教师在弘扬中华文化方面应该“铁肩担道义”,让我们的外语一族既有外语知识,又有汉语、国学修养,做到中西兼顾,相得益彰。Today English study becomes a hot topic but the Chinese level of our people is disappointing. The phenomenon of stressing foreign languages and neglecting Chinese is becoming increasingly serious. English teachers should attach great importance to the Chinese accomplishment to develop the Chinese culture while teaching English knowledge.
