摘 要:对昭通师范高等专科学校英语专业一年级学生元认知能力与听力理解水平关系的调查发现:学生元认知能力与听力理解水平呈正相关关系,即元认知能力高的学生,其听力理解水平也高.因此,为根本提高学生听力理解水平,教师应把元认知能力的培养纳入听力教学当中,在发展学生听力理解能力的同时,进行元认知策略的培训和指导.The investigation was conducted to find out the relationship between English Major's metacognition and listening comprehension competence. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between these two factors, which suggested that those students with competent metacogniton are more successful in listening comprehension. Therefore, in order to facilitate students' listening comprehension, teachers should involve metacognition development into listening teaching syllabus and train students metacognitive strategies while developing their listening competence.
