关于天台宗与华严宗的争论

摘　　要：被学界誉为中国佛教之双璧的天台宗和华严宗,虽然它们都倾向于思辨哲学,都注重于范畴、命题的阐述。但出于对经典理解的差异,出于宗派竞争的需要,它们也曾发生过三次比较大的争论,即关于佛性和法性之争、判教之争、同教与别教之争。Tiantai Sect and Huayan Sect are a ＂pair＂ in China＇s Buddhism, They both intend to consider and differentiate in philosophy and lay stress on the explanation of category and proposition, There happened three disputes-natural instincts of Buddhism and other things in the world, organization of Buddhist sacred literature, universal and peculiar religions, between them, due to their differences in the understanding of classics and their respective demand of sect competition.
