摘　　要：了解中英文化差异,有助于我们更好地学习英语,掌握英语民族的语言文化知识,从而实现民族间的跨文化交际,达到民族间互通、互助、共同提高的目的。通过对部分英汉习语的比较,分析英汉两个民族文化的特殊性和差异性。Leaming the cultural distinction contributes to the study of English, the grasp of the linguistic and cultural knowledge of English - speaking nations and the realization of the intercultural communication between two nations, rI＇nis paper compares certain English idioms with the Chinese ones with the p~ of detecting the cultural particularity and the cultural distinction between the two nations.
