摘　　要：虚词研究是我国古代语法研究的主要方面。从语言外部和内部两个方面解释语法研究传统形成的原因,外部原因主要是经学的引导,内部原因即汉语自身的特点,主要借鉴近年来语言学界出现的一些对汉语本质的认识,并且内部原因是形成以虚词为主的语法研究传统的根本原因。The study of function word is the main respect of the ancient grammar study in our country. Compared with the study of Indo - European family＇s grammar, the ancient grammar study in our country is one - sided. This text will try to explain tile reason for the formation of the tradition of grammar study from two points - language outside and inside, the out- side - mainly the guide of study of Confucian classics, the inside-the characteristic of Chinese itself, mainly draw from recent points of view of Characteristic of Chinese in the linguistic field, and think of the inside reason is basic one for the formation of the tradition of function - word - focus grammar study.
