摘　　要：营利学校是近十年来美国基础教育界新兴的一种学校类型。文章在介绍美国营利学校产生的过程,并从类型、数量规模和市场份额这三个方面描述美国营利学校发展现状的基础上,总结出了目前美国营利学校的发展特点。As a new school type, ＂For-profit schools＇emerged in the field of American basic education about 10 years. This paper introduces the arisen process of for-profit schools and describes its status through its types,scales and market share. Based on above information ,the author summarizes several features of the development of current for-profit schools in America.
