运用语域理论分析财经新闻报道的文体特征

摘　　要：运用系统功能语言学的理论,以2004年1月至2005年7月期间《金融时报》和《中国日报》英文版的财经新闻报道为研究对象,探讨了财经新闻报道文体特定的语言表达方式,并验证了将语域理论应用于新闻语篇分析的适用性和可操作性。This paper aims to apply the theory of three metafunction in Systematic Functional Linguistics to the analysis of news discourses, which are selected from Financial Times and China Daily during the period from January 2004 to July 2005, in order to examine their different choices of language and the influence of contexts. The present study tries to prove that ＇choice is meaning＇ and tests out the feasibility and applicability of the theory of three metafunction as a theoretical framework in the study of news discourse.
