摘　　要：随着经济的发展,人们生活水平的提高以及多年来口腔专业人员的大力宣传,大众的口腔保健意识大大提高,口腔保健逐渐为大众所重视。维护良好的口腔卫生不仅对于预防口腔疾病具有重要作用,同时也是现代文明生活的重要组成部分。最近《广东牙病防治》杂志编辑部组织了内地、香港、台湾的部分专家就“口腔卫生与现代生活”这一主题进行了讨论,这些专家分别从口腔卫生维护措施、口腔卫生对疾病防治和个人的影响以及口腔卫生在现代生活中的重要性等方面发表了各自精辟的见解,以期为读者提供一定的参考。本次专家论坛由广东省口腔医院章锦才教授主持。Along with the economic development, improvement of living level of population, and also as a consequence of extensive oral heath education from dental health workers and dental professionals, there is a great promotion and enhancement of populace awareness of oral health maintaining. Since good oral hygiene not only plays an important role in prevention oral disease but also contributes to shaping the perfection of modem life, an expert forum on Oral Hygiene and Modem Life was arranged recently in Shenzhen, China. In this meeting, a panel of experts and dental specialists from mainland of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan discussed intensively and shared their penetrating opinions on the captioned topics including importance and measures of oral hygiene maintaining in oral disease prevention as well as the influence of oral hygiene on the individual＇s self-image and behaviors, The workshop was hosted by Journal of Dental Prevention and Treatment and chaired by Prof.
