成人学生英语词汇学习策略探讨

摘　　要：成人学生在英语学习上投入了大量的时间和精力,但是许多人的学习结果却难以令人满意。一项词汇学习策略的调查表明,许多学生缺乏合适的学习方法。作者指出合理地使用记忆策略和大量地阅读英文简易分级读物是帮助学生掌握英语词汇的有效方法;另外教师应重视和帮助成人学生了解和学会使用各种词汇学习策略。Although many adult students have spent a lot of time and energy in learning Engllsh,they can not receive satisfactory results. A research has been done＇to find out the main reason which shows that the learning strategy is the biggest problem. The author illustrate in the essay that the use of memory strategy and large step by step reading will be the most effective ways. Besides teachers should help the students get to know and learn to use the learning strategies.
