摘　　要：民俗事象之所以能传承下来,依赖于它们所具有的社会功能,广西右江流域壮族传统寿庆习俗的社会功能主要有教化功能、规范功能、心理调适功能、凝聚功能、喜庆功能等,对它的保护和研究应引起足够的重视。The folk custom therefore can inherit relies on its social functions. The major social functions of traditional Zhuang folk custom of birthday celebration in Guangxi Youjiang Valley are functions of enlightenment, standardization, psychological adjustment, cohesion, and jubilation. Its protection and research should be brought to enough attention.
