外语教学如何培养学生的创新能力

摘　　要：在科学技术日新月异的今天,创新能力已成为现代人才最重要的素质。外语教学在培养创新型人才方面,肩负着特殊使命。这就要求广大外语教师率先更新教育观念,提高自身的创新意识和创新思维能力;教学以学生为主体,注重培养学生的思维能力和实际运用语言的综合能力,从改革教学内容、方法、手段等方面入手,努力培养出具有创新精神、创新能力的社会主义建设者。Nowadays, when science and technology are developing rapidly, innovative ability is the most important quality of modern talented people. Foreign language teaching takes on special heavy responsibilities in training innovative talent, which requires that foreign language teachers should first renew their own ideas, enhance their own innovative consciousness, improve their own innovative thinking ability, take students as the dominant factor and pay special attention to training the students＇ thinking ability and the comprehensive ability of applying language to practice. Foreign language teachers should also reform the teaching contents and teaching methods and means to teach students to become socialist builders who have innovative spirit and innovative ability.
